LncRNA ODRUL is the most increasingly expressed in the doxorubicin-resistant osteosarcoma (OS) cell line. Moreover, ODRUL is higher in different doxorubicin-resistant OS cell lines and lower in different doxorubicin-sensitive OS cell lines. In addition, ODRUL is increased in specimens of OS patients with a poor chemoresponse and lung metastasis. LncRNA OR3A4 is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues, and significantly associated with metastasis. Enhanced OR3A4 expression in gastric cancer cells promotes cell migration and invasion. Moreover, enhanced OR3A4 expression in gastric cancer cells promotes tubule formation in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), thus promoting vasculogenic mimicrybin and angiogenesis of gastric cancer. Mechanism studies show that OR3A4 promotes tumorigenicity and peritoneal spreading of gastric cancer involves PDLIM2 downregulation.
