Description

LncRNA CASC2 is lower in colorectal cancer (1), glioma (2), renal cell carcinoma (3), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (4). Its expression level is associated with clinicopathological parameters such as tumor size, TNM stage, prognosis etc. (4). Functionally, CASC2 regulates cancer cell proliferation, migration, metastasis, invasion and apoptosis (2). Mechanistically, CASC2 can bind to miR-18a (1), miR-21 (2544626). Besides, CASC2 negatively regulates pSTAT3 and c-Myc (1).
