Description

LncRNA EGFR-AS1 is up-regulated in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues and correlated with portal vein thrombosis, lymph metastasis and poor prognosis. EGFR-AS1 knockdown can decrease the expression of EGFR in vitro. In addition, growth hormone receptor (GHR) can promote the expression of EGFR and EGFR-AS1. Inhibition of EGFR-AS1 impedes cell proliferation, cell migration and EMT. EGFR-AS1 can also reduce E-cadherin and increase N-cadherin (1).
