Description

LncRNA FOXCUT is ove-rexpressed in basal-like breast cancer (BLBC) tissue specimens (1) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (2), and positively correlated with FOXC1 mRNA level. FOXCUT can promote proliferation and migration in these two cancer cell lines. In addition, high expression of FOXCUT is correlated with age, poor differentiation, advanced lymph node classification, metastasis and poor prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (2).
