Description

LncRNA HOXA-AS2 is up-regulated in human gastric cancer (GC) tissues (1) and promyelocytic leukemia cells (2). In addition, HOXA-AS2 expression is induced by IFN-γ and TNF-α in neutrophils (2). Overexpression of HOXA-AS2 is associated with tumor size, TNM stage and poor prognosis of GC. HOXA-AS2 promotes cell proliferation and inhibits cell apoptosis (1, 2). HOXA-AS2 epigenetically silences P21, PLK3 and DDIT3 transcription by binding with EZH2 (1).
