Description

HULC is higher in breast cancer (1), colorectal carcinoma (2), gastric cancer (3), liver cancer (4), osteosarcoma (5), pancreatic cancer (6) and glioma (7). HULC expression level is associated with clinicopathological parameters such as staging and grading (8, 5, 6). HULC regulates cancer cell proliferation, migration, metastasis, invasion and apoptosis, EMT (2, 3, 5). Mechanistically, HULC can bind to EZH2 (2), CREB (4), IGF2BP1 (8), CLOCK (9), miR-107 (10), miR-200a-3p (11). Moreover, HULC negatively regulates NKD2 (2), miR-372 (4), miR-9, TNF-α (12), E-Cadherin (11), and positively regulates LC3-II/LC3-I (3), SPHK1, E2F1 (10), Snail (13), ZEB1, ZO-1 (11), pERK, pAKT, pmTOR, ESM-1, peIF4E (7), thereby, it promotes cancer development by regulating these cancer-related factors.
