Description

LncRNA LET is lower in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (1), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (2), gallbladder cancer (3), gastric cancer (4), hepatic carcinoma,colorectal cancer,lung squamous cell cancer (5), and cervical cancer (6). LET expression level is associated with clinicopathological parameters such as pathological grade, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, prognosis etc. (6, 3, 4). LET regulates cancer cell proliferation, migration, metastasis, invasion and apoptosis (2, 3). LET play biological functions via negatively regulating Bcl-2 (3) and positively regulates p53 (2), p21, caspase-3, Bax (3). Moreover, LET can regulate hypoxia signaling (5).
