LncRNA WRAP53 is significantly higher in sera of hepatic carcinoma (HCC) than those with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection or healthy volunteers. Increased expression of WRAP53 is associated with advanced clinical parameters in HCC. Besides, WRAP53 is a significant independent prognostic marker in relapse-free survival. In addition, UCA1 and WRAP53 up-regulation may serve as novel serum biomarkers for HCC diagnosis and prognosis (1).
