Tissuebone marrow,
Canceracute megakaryocytic leukemia,

Description

LncRNA MONC is highly expressed in acute megakaryocytic leukemia (AMKL) blasts and is mainly localized in the nucleus and its expression is correlated with the corresponding miRNA clusters. Knockdown of MONC impedes leukemic growth of AMKL cell lines. MONC interferes with hematopoietic lineage decisions and enhances the proliferation of immature erythroid progenitor cells (1).
