Description

LncRNA MVIH is up-regulated in breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (1) and hepatocellular carcinoma (2) and high MVIH expression is correlated with Ki67 expression (3). Moreover, patients with high MVIH expression levels are associated with clinicopathologic parameters (3, 1, 2). In addition, up-regulated MVIH expression promotes cell proliferation, cell cycle and cell invasion, but inhibit cell apoptosis (3, 2479317, 2). Mechanistically, MVIH affects cell invasion via regulating the level of MMP2 and MMP9 (1). Furthermore, MVIH could weaken the function of PGK1 in angiogenesis inhibition by reducing the secretion of PGK1, but could not regulate the function of PGK1 in glycolysis (2).
