LncRNA NUTF2P3-001 is over-expressed in pancreatic cancer and chronic pancreatitis tissues, which positively correlates with tumor size, tumor differentiation, TNM stage, lymphatic invasion, distant metastasis and survival time of patients. Knockdown of lncRNA-NUTF2P3-001 inhibits viability, proliferation and invasion in pancreatic cancer cell, accompanying with decreased KRAS expression. Mechanism studies show that NUTF2P3-001 regulates KRAS expression through competitively binding with miR-3923. Moreover, NUTF2P3-001 is transcriptionally up-regulated by HIF-1α in hypoxia (1).
