RPL13AP23 expression level is remarkably decreased in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tissues and associated with tumor node metastasis stage, lymph node metastasis and prognosis. Besides, enforced expression of RPL13AP23 suppresses PDAC cells' invasion. Moreover, overexpression of RPL13AP23 significantly increases both mRNA and protein level of OS-9. The lncRNA RPL13AP23 inhibits tumor invasion by suppressing HIF-1α expression through modulating OS-9 function (1).
