Description

LncRNA RSU1P2 is up-regulated in human cervical cancer tissues. RSU1P2 promotes the proliferation, cell cycle progression, invasion, migration, and EMT and reduces apoptosis. At molecular level, upregulation of RSU1P2 results in the downregulation of E-cadherin and the upregulation of vimentin and ICAM-1. Besides, RSU1P2, by binding let-7a, acts as a decoy to abolish the miRNA-repressing activity on IGF1R, N-myc and EphA4 3′UTR (1).
