Description

LncRNA SRHC is down-regulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and a lower SRHC expression level is significantly more frequent in tissues with a high serum of a-fetoprotein level and a low degree of differentiated tumors. Furthermore, the promoter region of SRHC contains a CpG-rich island, and SRHC is down-regulated in tumors by DNA methylation (1).
