Description

LncRNA XIST is higher in glioma (1), nasopharyngeal carcinoma (2), and lower in breast cancer (3). XIST regulates cancer cell proliferation, migration, metastasis, invasion and apoptosis (1, 4). Mechanistically, XIST can bind to miR-152 (1), miR-34a-5p (2). Moreover, XIST negatively regulates pAKT, OCT4 (3) and positively regulates E2F3 (2).
